The SWORDSPLOSION!!! is a unique E-tech shotgun manufactured by Torgue. It is obtained from the mission The Sword in The Stoner given by Roland in Flamerock Refuge.
Special Weapon Effects
Because Mister Torgue Said So. – Fires a single projectile in the shape of a sword which explodes upon impact, spawning three smaller swords, which also explode on impact (much like a MIRV grenade). Consumes 2 ammo per shot.
Usage & Description
The Swordsplosion is arguably one of the deadliest Shotguns available in Borderlands 2, bearing more raw damage than a Flakker (If you can even get it to hit something). Due to the amount of raw explosive damage this gun can put out, Krieg is arguably the best character to use this weapon with, due to the bonuses from Strip the Flesh and Salt the Wound.
Keep in mind that the Swordsplosion fires arcing shots, so don't go trying to shoot enemies out of medium range.
Notes
- It can also spawn with the "Casual" prefix, which causes it to fire 3 swords instead of one.
- The "child" swords seem to be a combination of a sword and a grenade.
