The Ruby's Wrath possesses a unique [[Alternative Fire mode]] tracking round known as a "Vortex Grenade". It functions exactly like a harmless [[Singularity Grenade]], causing enemies to ragdoll while simultaneously marking them, giving it both utility as a tracking method and disruptive tool. As the Ruby's Wrath will fire seven missiles, this weapon has almost unparalleled single-target damage, but can also be used to almost instantly clear rooms as the missiles will evenly split between tagged targets.

Care should be taken when using the Vortex Grenade, as it possesses an eight second cooldown, the longest out of all Atlas weaponry. If the grenade misses completely, the weapon is more or less unusable for the next eight seconds.{{Atlas3}}
