Roisen's Thorns is a legendary pistol in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Torgue. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Princess Tarantella II.
Special Weapon Effects[]
Where there is pleasure, there is pain.
- +100% weapon damage. -50% recoil height. -75% projectile speed. Always corrosive.
- Impact firing mode fires 4 additional incendiary projectiles (not affected by projectile modifier), dealing 25% of weapon damage as splash damage each.
Usage & Description[]
Roisen's Thorns is a powerful pistol that functions similarly to a Masher in the way that it fires multiple projectiles per shot. This makes it extremely powerful at close range, while the explosive nature also gives it great area of effect damage.
The weapon's alternate fire makes it versatile as well. Although it does not have incendiary shots, the fire rate and bullet velocity are much higher. This is ideal for long range and faster enemies.
Notes[]
- The projectiles from a Roisen's Thorns do not ricochet to the character when the Mayhem Mode Defendarius modifier is in effect.
- Variants with the "Double-Penetrating" prefix will shoot two corrosive shots, but the fire shots remain unaffected.
- After a 3/12/2020 hotfix, Roisen's Thorns had its damage increased.
