Background Information
While Dahl still maintained a strong presence on Pandora, they operated two interplanetary beacons, used by interstellar craft for navigation and communication. Recently, bandits have taken up residence around the beacon stations, shutting them down in the process. Somebody needs to get out there and clean the bandit infestation out of those stations, and reactivate the beacons.
Quest Information
This quest takes place in Rust Commons East. If you take the path from the Underpass, then the first beacon is to the south, before you hit the Middle of Nowhere. Follow the waypoint to the back of this encampment to find the console. The Overlook takes you across a bridge where you talk to a Clatrap to open. Stick to the wall on your left as you pass Jaynistown to reach this area. This one, again, is located in the back of the encampment, but this time, comes with a weapon chest! Activate it and return to Helena Pierce for your reward.
Completion
Here's your payment for services rendered. Now that those beacons are active again, hopefully somebody other than Atlas Corp. can access the interplanetary communications network. Getting back in touch with the neighboring systems should do wonders for the local economy.
