The Rebel Yell handles much more like a conventional assault rifle in that it has a good fire rate, low recoil, and faster projectile speed than other Atlas weapons. As long as the tracking darts are maintained, it is effective at lowering shields and dealing solid damage. However its damage stats are quite low by comparison, causing it to perform mediocre at best.

Trivia

  • The red text is part of a quote uttered by General T. J. "Stonewall" Jackson during the American Civil War instructing his troops to yell. This yell became known as the Rebel Yell and was used by Confederate soldiers when charging into battle. "Reserve your fire until they come within 50 yards! Then fire and give them the bayonet! And when you charge, yell like furies!"
