Ravenous Viruses are viruses encountered during the mission The Psychology of a Claptrap in the Claptastic Voyage DLC from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Ravenous Viruses do not spawn on their own, but are instead created by damaging a Reluctant Virus by about 25%. Once the Reluctant Virus gets sufficiently damaged, it will morph into a Ravenous Virus and become far more hostile. Both forms are only found during the mission The Psychology of a Claptrap.
The Ravenous Virus will attack the Vault Hunters with both melee attacks and ranged fire attacks. The goal during the mission is to lure the Ravenous Viruses close to a deletion field, which the Viruses like to feed on. The Vault Hunters will want to keep the Ravenous Viruses alive so that they can fulfil the mission objective.

- In True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Ravenous Parasite, and in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Ravenous Leech.
