Projectile Recursion is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Maliwan. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

The Projectile Recursion deals high elemental damage with extreme precision, functioning more like a sniper rifle than a shotgun. The particle beam fired by the weapon will attempt to seek out secondary targets upon hitting an enemy, and it can chain to multiple enemies in a single shot.
Notes
- The Projectile Recursion must charge between each shot, making its actual fire rate much lower than listed.
- Class Mods and other effects that lower weapon charge time will help to achieve its true fire rate.
