Plumage is a legendary rocket launcher in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Atlas. It is exclusive to the Bounty of Blood DLC for Borderlands 3 and an increased chance to drop from Wrendon Esk in The Blastplains on Gehenna.
Special Weapon Effects[]
Quit peacocking around.
- +120% base weapon damage. Fixed tracker grenade.
- Enemies killed while marked by the tracker grenade drop another tracker grenade on their position, which instantly explodes and marks other enemies.
Usage & Description[]
The Plumage is similar to Ruby's Wrath: powerful and ammo efficient, but nearly useless if the tracking feature is on cooldown.
Notes[]
- The Plumage fires the rocket salvo at a slight upwards angle, so by aiming towards the floor, it can be used as a crude shotgun in a pinch, especially useful when the tracking grenade is on cooldown.
- Effects that regenerate ammo or fire extra projectiles will also work on the Tracker Grenade function.
- The Plumage could be seen as an improvement over the Ruby's Wrath as it lacks the crippling reload speed reduction and deals significantly higher damage per rocket salvo if all projectiles impact the target.

- The name and flavor text are a reference to "peacocking," ostentatious or self-aggrandizing behavior by a man attempting to impress a woman.
