Plasma Coil is a legendary submachine gun in Borderlands 4 manufactured by Maliwan. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from the Timekeeper located in Terminus District in Dominion City.

The flavor text alludes to plasma, one of the states of matter beyond the three basic ones that are normally taught in introductory physics--solid, liquid, and gas.
