Phoenix is a respawnable mini-boss encountered in Borderlands 3.
Background
Phoenix is a unique Rakk with a lair located on a small plateau not far away from the entry point to The Splinterlands. It is a target of Sir Hammerlock's Legendary Hunt.

Notes
- After the first resurrection, it is renamed to Reborn Phoenix, and to Legendary Phoenix after the second.
- Phoenix (enemy) may drop these items at the following chances:
- Malak's Bane Sniper Rifle (10%)
- Phoenix Tears Artifact (level 28+) (10%)
- Deathless Artifact (level 28+) (10%)
- The Phoenix can reportedly sometimes resurrect more than three times, with an increase in hit points and damage output. It is unclear whether or not this is intentional and/or if it increases loot drops.
