Pestilence is a legendary pistol in Borderlands 3 manufactured by COV. It can only be obtained from Heckle and Hyde in the Jakobs Estate on Eden-6 or from Atomic in Tazendeer Ruins on Nekrotafeyo.
Special Weapon Effects
Go forth conquering, and to conquer. – Always radiation. Increased charge speed. Reduced repair speed. When the weapon breaks, it creates a radiation explosion that hurts the character and nearby enemies.
Usage & Description
The Pestilence performs well for a weapon of its class, but care must be used when overheating. The explosion upon breaking the weapon is capable of killing the character. Pairing with the Red Suit shield gives invulnerability to this explosion and allows it to be used offensively.

Trivia
- The name and flavor text reference the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in Revelation 6:2 of the King James Bible. The verse reads, "And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."
- Though this horseman isn't named, they are often called Conquest or Pestilence.
