Parasitic Viruses are viruses encountered in the Claptastic Voyage DLC from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Strategy
Parasitic Viruses exhibit a unique attack not found in other viruses. Namely, they can generate a red beam of energy which attaches to Vault Hunters and steals their health, simultaneously healing the virus and damaging the Vault Hunter. These viruses should often be targetted first to avoid this effect.
Parasitic Viruses do not exhibit the elemental adaptation ability which Adaptive Viruses have.
Notes
- In True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Bloodsucker Virus, and in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Viral Leech.
