The Pain is Power is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Children of the Vault.

Nobody kills me but ME! – Unlimited magazine size. Firing the weapon when overheated damages the user.

The Pain is Power is useful on characters that utilize certain skills upon receiving damage, or when their shield breaks. This weapon can be used to achieve that manually, rather than taking damage from enemies and potentially being crippled in the process.
