The Overcompensator (Tales from the Borderlands) is a most advanced prototype shotgun manufactured by Hyperion by time when Tales from the Borderlands takes place.

The gun has at least three unique subsystems: automatic firing, supercharger unit, and voice activation module.
Description[]
Brought by Vasquez from Helios in his chase for Rhys and Vaughn. Subsystems of this gun can be remotely hacked by player via ECHO-Eye (with the help of Handsome Jack's AI) to distract Vasquez and give protagonists a time to flee from him.
