Ogre is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Vladof. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Anointed Alpha located in The Anvil on Eden-6.

It's all ogre now. – Fires missiles instead of bullets. No alternative fire mode. Increased magazine size.
Usage & Description[]
The Ogre is a rather effective weapon, combining the power of a Torgue assault rifle with the fire rate of a Vladof weapon. As a result of it firing missiles, its effective range is short-to-medium, since the missiles make the weapon difficult to use at longer ranges.
The Ogre's special ability comes at the cost of it not having an Alternative Fire mode and being unable to spawn with elemental damage. This can make it less effective for certain builds. However, Moze can make exceptionally good use of the Ogre if specced into Demolition Woman skill tree, which strengthens and rewards splash damage effects.

- After a 3/12/2020 hotfix, the Ogre had its damage increased.
