Nimble Jack is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Jakobs. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Handsome Jackie located in Skywell-27 on Promethea.

Special Weapon Effects

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jump up and kill lunatics. – Increased accuracy when the character is airborne. Critical hits do not consume ammo.

Usage & Description

The Nimble Jack is best used while 'bunny-hopping' to maximize its special effect. It is otherwise a typical Jakobs shotgun with above-average stats.

Notes

The Nimble Jack's airborne effect is exceptionally useful in the low gravity of Skywell-27.
After a 3/12/2020 hotfix buff, the Nimble Jack had its damage buffed and a 100% bonus critical damage added.

Trivia

The weapon's name and flavor text are a reference to the nursery rhyme "Jack Be Nimble".
