Nightmare Malechs are enemies encountered in the Guns, Love, and Tentacles expansion for Borderlands 3. They serve as acolytes and light troopers for the Bonded cult.

Strategy
Much like other light troops, Malechs will seek cover and engage their opponents from there. They will not bear any shielding, however, a nearby Lifeblood Skrit might provide them another bar of health. They will also occasionally throw grenades or, often, a corrupted heart that will create an area-of-denial seething with dark energies. Often, they will create a Shade Malech to press their opponents out from cover or strike them down if they are already weak.
Notes
- In Mayhem Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode they are renamed Torment Malechar.
