Night Flyer is a legendary pistol in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Dahl. It can only be obtained as a rare drop from I'm Rakkman located in Carnivora on Pandora.
Special Weapon Effects[]
I have one rule.
- +35% weapon damage. Increased fire rate. Always non-elemental.
- Click the trigger to fire a 2-round burst. No fire selector. Unlike most Dahl weapons, the user need to release the trigger between firing bursts.
- Fires in full-auto when airborne.
- Will damage enemies until they are at 1 HP.
Usage & Description[]
The Night Flyer's special effect can be used to help a teammate achieve a second wind by guaranteeing they get the kill, as well as helping characters complete challenges which require kills under specific circumstances.
The Night Flyer can also be used to damage the special Jakobs barrels carried by Thieving Jabbers which drop cash when damaged, without destroying the barrel. This allows for money to be obtained for as long as the character has pistol ammo, and can be extremely effective if they have ammo-regenerating skills.
Notes[]
- When at 1 HP, enemies hit by the Night Flyer will have "IMMUNE" appear.
- The Night Flyer only spawns with the Surgical prefix, and never with an elemental capacitor.

- The source, name, and special effect of the weapon are references to Batman and his personal code of not killing anyone.
- Night Flyer shares the same painting with Vanquisher and Star Helix.
