Muckamuck is the title of a group of common sniper rifles in Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. They are manufactured exclusively by Jakobs, and features the Jakobs barrel.

Usage & Description

The Muckamuck sniper rifles tend to be high-quality sniper rifles, featuring damage boosts and high accuracy at the expense of high recoil and low fire rate. Muckamucks may be bolt-action (when blue or white rarity) and have either a seven-round cylinder similar to what was common in Borderlands or sport the 7–8-round block magazine. They are very similar to the Chinook line of sniper rifles, also made by Jakobs.

- Buffalo – Unique scopeless sniper rifle with a +65% damage bonus.
- Skullmasher – Legendary sniper rifle that fires five projectiles at the cost of one round with each projectile suffering a loss of damage and accuracy.
- Hawk Eye – Seraph sniper rifle with low non-critical hit damage but an extremely high critical hit damage output.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
- Kull Muckamuck – Unique (but common-quality) variant of this weapon as Nisha's starting weapon.
- Plunkett – Unique sniper rifle that consumes directly from the ammo pool if a critical hit is scored.
- Razorback – Unique scopeless sniper rifle with a damage bonus and fixed blade accessory.
- Skullmasher – Legendary sniper rifle that fires six projectiles at the cost of one round with each projectile suffering a loss of damage and accuracy.

Notes

The Muckamuck is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

Trivia

The term "muckamuck," or makamak, in the Native American Chinook language means "plenty to eat".
