Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot is a downloadable content pack for Borderlands 3. It adds a new story campaign, new locations and enemies.
Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot was officially announced with a teaser trailer on November 14th, 2019, a gameplay trailer released on November 20th, 2019 with the DLC name and release date shown and then officially released on December 19th, 2019. It is included within the Borderlands 3 Season Pass and is available for individual purchase for US$14.99.
Plot
Handsome Jack is long dead, but a legacy of his still exists in the form of a gigantic space casino known as the Handsome Jackpot. Moxxi has decided that she wants to raid the casino and claim its riches for herself, so she's asked the Vault Hunters for their help.
However, the casino is not abandoned. Jack had staffed the casino with upgraded Loader Bots, the patrons that were trapped on the casino when Jack died have gone essentially feral, and the maniacal Pretty Boy lords over everything within. This heist isn't going to be as simple as Moxxi first thought.

Notes
- The level range of Moxxi's Heist begins at level 15 and will scale to match the level of the currently played Vault Hunter from there.
- Moxxi's Heist features an abundance of armored enemies due to the reintroduction of Handsome Jack's robots. Human enemies encountered will also use armor bars instead of Shields at higher difficulty levels.
Trivia
- Many of the Hyperion-manufactured forces featured within Moxxi's Heist - such as Loaders, Surveyors and Constructors - are redesigned versions of their counterparts from Borderlands 2.
