Monk is a common class mod for the Gunzerker, added in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep and manufactured by Vladof. The Monk class mod can only be obtained from treasure chests or enemies found within that DLC.

Stats

Affected Variable

As will all class mods from Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, the Monk class mod will grant two of the following bonuses up to the specified amount, depending on the full name of the class mod:

Alignment Type Affected Variable
Lawful Accuracy (Up to 33%)
Chaotic Fire Rate (Up to 33%)
Good Reload Speed (Up to 45%)
Evil Critical Hit Damage (Up to 45%)
Neutral Magazine Size (Up to 45%)
True Neutral (Double instance of Neutral Alignment) Magazine Size (Up to 78%)

The "True Neutral" class mod grants two separate Magazine Size bonuses and thus will display them as a single bonus. All others will display two distinct bonuses.

Prefixes

The Monk class mod will spawn with one of the following nine prefixes. Variants may also grant additional skill bonuses:

Alignment Type Affected Variable Skill Bonuses
Chaotic Evil Fire Rate and Critical Hit Damage

Chaotic Neutral Fire Rate and Magazine Size
Lawful Evil Accuracy and Critical Hit Damage
Lawful Good Accuracy and Reload Speed
Lawful Neutral Accuracy and Magazine Size ?
Neutral Evil Magazine Size and Critical Hit Damage ?
Neutral Good Magazine Size and Reload Speed
True Neutral Magazine Size

Using the D&D alignment chart, this can also be expressed as:

Accuracy Magazine Size Fire Rate
Reload Speed Lawful Good Neutral Good Chaotic Good
Magazine Size Lawful Neutral True Neutral Chaotic Neutral
Critical Hit Damage Lawful Evil Neutral Evil Chaotic Evil

Notes

  • All "Good" variants of the Monk class mod are bugged, lengthening the time taken to reload rather than decreasing it.
    • A hotfix issued July 9th, 2013 addresses this issue, changing "Good" COMs so that they reduce reload time. Because this is a hotfix, users must be connected to the internet when Borderlands 2 is started for it to be applied.
