Mining Laser is a unique laser manufactured by Hyperion. It is obtained from the mission Infinite Loop located in Research and Development, if CLAP-9000 is disabled.

Special Weapon Effects

PROTOTYPE - Authorized personnel only. – Fires three railgun-type projectiles in a tight spread with a fixed triangular spread pattern. Increased damage. Consumes 7 ammo per shot.

Usage & Description

The railgun's damage, paired with the three projectiles, results in a deadly weapon both for short and long-range combat. While the fixed pattern often makes getting all three projectiles to hit difficult at longer ranges, it does make getting a hit on a moving target at long range easier.
