McSmugger is an NPC in the Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption DLC.
Background
McSmugger, or the wisest cowboy to ever walk the land, is a legend - something people talk about sitting around camp fire. Although posters of him playing the lead role in number of feature movies can be seen in and around the Cox Theater, no one claims actually seeing the man in the flesh.
Involvement
Vault Hunters felt drawn to the Hero Pass where, to their surprise, they find no other but the legend himself. McSmugger sends out Vault Hunters to the journey of introspection all the way to the top of Mount Maraboshi.
With their journey completed, Vault Hunters return to McSmugger only to see him - with some closing words of wisdom - disappear into the thin air... and them becoming McSmugger themselves.
