Masterwork Crossbow is a legendary sniper rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Hyperion. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Urist McEnforcer located in Lectra City on Promethea.

Usage & Description
While the Masterwork Crossbow boasts high damage, the slow projectile speed and parabolic trajectory can make it difficult to snipe moving targets or targets at long range. Rather than the 'point and shoot' of a standard sniper rifle, the Crossbow requires the user to lead targets and factor in the drop rate of the projectile. This does, however, make the Masterwork Crossbow very useful against enemies in cover – if aimed correctly, the Crossbow can hit an enemy hiding behind full cover.

- Its similar to the Longbow in practice, with the main difference is the Masterwork Crossbow has a scope, as well as shooting regular crossbow bolt instead of Minecraft arrows
