The Maliwan Drop Ship is a vehicle in Borderlands 3 encountered on Promethea.
Description
During Maliwan's invasion of Promethea, numerous Drop Ships can be seen patrolling the skies, and the wreckage of down Drop Ships can occasionally be seen on the ground. Maliwan Drop Ships have a minimalist design, essentially a loop that forms an inverted thruster that keeps the craft aloft and allows for movement. Maliwan soldiers are digitally stored within the craft's slender body and then digistructed beneath it at their destination. Maliwan Drop Ships are only minimally armed with a single turret, but the turret is durable and more than capable of suppressing enemy fire long enough to safely deploy troops.
