For the Bandit equivalent, see Murrv.

Mirv is a common Grenade Mod manufactured by Torgue. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

Usage & Description

Upon detonation the parent grenade spawns child grenades, the number of which depend on the stats randomly ascribed to the grenade mod when it is dropped from a loot source. This grenade mod can be compared to the shotgun weapon type by the way its base damage stat is multiplied by the number of child grenades spawned from it, with each child grenade having only the base damage stat.

Notable variants

  • Captain Blade's Midnight Star - Unique cursed grenade mod with child grenades that are ejected towards the user.
  • Bonus Package - Legendary grenade mod with child grenades that spawn an additional child grenade again.
  • Rolling Thunder - Legendary grenade mod that behaves like a rubberized grenade and explodes on each bounce.
  • Meteor Shower - Seraph grenade mod that launches child grenades high in the air which deploy more child grenades as well.

Trivia

  • MIRV is an acronym for Multiple Independently-targeted Reentry Vehicle, a ballistic missile that contains multiple warheads.
