Love Drill is a unique pistol in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Jakobs. It is obtained from the mission The Call of Gythian located in Negul Neshai, on Xylourgos.

To have and to hold... – Fixed parts. Critical hits return 1 bullet to the magazine. Significantly increased critical damage.
Usage & Description[]
The Love Drill can be considered an amped up version of the Unforgiven, as it shares its extremely high critical damage but not its firing speed penalty. Despite having a lower critical damage multiplier, the Love Drill can tear through enemies with large critical spots since crits will return a bullet to the magazine.
This Love Drill is more limited against regular enemies, as the Love Drill still has the heavy recoil of a standard Jakobs firearm, and its unique sight also makes it difficult to aim accurately. This makes it more effective for close encounters compared to the Unforgiven, which can excel at medium range.
Notes[]
- This unique version of the Love Drill is part of a pair of weapons, the other being the Love Drill that is a rare drop from defeating Eleanor. It is differentiated by its rarity and weapon skin, and is considered the inferior of the pair, as it does not have the chance to deal double shock damage.
- The Love Drill has a unique sight in the shape of a hovering diamond. The bullets still fire from the iron sights when zoomed in, instead of the diamond.
Trivia[]
- The flavor text refers to the vows said during a wedding ceremony. The text is the first half of the quote, with the full quote being "To have and to hold... till death do us depart".
- The Love Drill is one of the few weapons that shares the exact same name as another weapon in one game (that being its pairing).
