Locomöbius is a respawnable boss encountered in the Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck for Borderlands 3.
Background
Locomobius is a Hyperion freight train encountered in Sapphire's Run in Psycho Krieg's Fantastic Flustercluck. It symbolizes Krieg's fear of losing Maya in that he thinks the train was going to take her away from him.
Appearances
Strategy
Locomöbius attacks by attempting to run the character over and appears through a portal or on the train tracks. It announces its attack with a series of train bells, and if it is on the train tracks, the tracks will glow pink. During the fight, the train will occasionally stop to spawn bandits, leaving it vulnerable to attacks. Its critical points are the power cells under each car that glow red.
Notes
- Locomöbius may drop these items at the following chances:
- Blind Sage Shotgun (10%)
- Faulty Star Shield (10%)
- Hustler Artifact (10%)
- During the story mission What Love Remains, Maya will accompany the player to fight Locomöbius. She will automatically revive players who go down, and will occasionally Phaselock the boss to give an opening. Once the story mission is complete, Maya will no longer be present during refights.

- Locomöbius's flavor text is a nod to one of the loading screen tips: "DID YOU KNOW? Four is the correct number of chuggas to say before choo-choo."
