Lead Sprinkler is a legendary assault rifle in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Jakobs. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

Special Weapon Effects

Splish splash. – Bodyshots spawn a single explosive pellet arcing downwards from the enemy. Headshots spawn 3 explosive pellets.

Usage & Description

The Lead Sprinkler is very effective at crowd control as the explosive pellets can easily clear out groups of enemies. It is less effective against standalone enemies as the spread of the explosive pellets is not precise and may not always hit, especially against fast-moving opponents.

Notes

Bullets fired by the Lead Sprinkler possess a significant drop, requiring aim adjustment to compensate for the arc.
Comes in both semi-auto and full-auto variants.

Trivia

The flavor text references Bobby Darin's 1958 novelty song of the same name.
The name and special effect are a reference to Brutus' Lead Sprinkler from the video game Path of Exile. The weapon is very commonly used with a skill called Molten Strike, which spawns projectiles that fall to the ground and deal damage in an area after hitting an enemy.
