Kraggon Pebbles are the smallest variety of incendiary-based kraggon in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Appearances

Strategy

Kraggon Pebbles like to run up into melee range in order to swipe with either their tail or front paws. However, they are also capable of leap attacks from mid-to-long range, and can occasionally roll up into a ball to charge. If they cannot get into melee range, they are capable of spitting fireballs.

After having been in combat for a certain length of time, Kraggon Pebbles often pause to roar, causing a brief burst of fire and thin veins of magma to appear across their bodies. At this stage, they change into Kraggon Fuses.

As with all incendiary-based kraggons, Kraggon Pebbles are almost completely immune to incendiary damage, and are highly susceptible to cryo damage.

When dealing with them in large numbers slamming is effective due to the splash Damage and making yourself more difficult to hit while saving grenades for later use.

Notes

  • As the smallest variety of incendiary-based kraggon, Kraggon Pebbles never break apart into smaller kraggons upon death, regardless of whether or not it was broken apart from a larger kraggon.
  • When a Kraggon Pebble becomes a Kraggon Fuse, it regains no health. This means that if the Kraggon Pebble stage ends with only 1/4 of its health remaining, the Kraggon Fuse stage will begin with only 1/4 of its health remaining also.
  • In True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Hewed Kraggon Pebble, and in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Engraved Kraggon Pebble.
