Koraxes are flying creatures encountered in Borderlands 3. They are native to Nekrotafeyo.
Appearances
Strategy
Koraxes like to keep their distance while shooting corrosive projectiles from a large stinger attached to the end of their abdomens. They also to make quick fly-bys to drop toxic pods.
Toxic pod
These pods explode on contact or after certain period of time if they land on the ground. Given the opportunity, Koraxes will sting targets with their stingers applying direct damage and strong corrosive status effect. While Vault Hunters are busy fighting other nekrobugs on the ground, Koraxes can go unnoticed while inflicting considerable damage.
They are very vulnerable to incendiary damage, and their weak point is their glowing yellow abdomen.
Notes
- In Mayhem Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode, they are renamed Mighty Korax.
- In the Takedown at the Guardian Breach they receive a Invading prefix.
