King Mong is an enormous bullymong who sometimes roams the hills of Eridium Blight, along the slope leading to Hero's Pass, or directly in front of the bridge to the Arid Boneyard.
Notes
- King Mong has a small chance to drop the legendary Bandit-made rocket launcher, Badaboom.
- A challenge can be completed by killing King Mong while it is slagged.
- He will not always spawn (but the chance of him NOT spawning seems to be very very low). Just exit and re-enter and he will eventually spawn.
Trivia
- King Mong takes its name from the King Kong franchise of giant monster movies, and from their star 50-foot-tall gorilla.
- King Mong will typically drop some Eridium every time he is killed, anywhere from 1-8 typically. Being that a player can simply get a vehicle and kill him fairly quickly, utilizing King Mong to obtain Eridium is easy.
