Keep It Piping Hot is the tier 5 skill in Salvador's Gun Lust skill tree.

Effect

While Gunzerking is on cooldown, this skill gives a buff to guns, melee, and grenade damage.

Notes

• In versions before patch 1.4, this skill did not function if any cooldown rate bonuses were applied to Gunzerking. A greyed-out skill effect tab appeared on the HUD, but did not highlight.
• Keep It Piping Hot synergizes poorly with many other skills in the Rampage tree.
  • Last Longer, I'm Ready Already and Yippee Ki Yay prolong its duration, reduce its cooldown time and adds to the skill timer for each kill respectively, reducing the skill's utility as they heavily lean in favor of sustained Gunzerking.
  • It can somewhat synergize with Get Some if it activates while Gunzerking, since Get Some continues to reduce action skill cooldown when Gunzerking. However, even with five points in Get Some, Keep It Piping Hot would only persist for up to three seconds, and its duration cannot be reset, as Get Some has a mandatory cooldown of three seconds between each activation.
