Kaneda's Laser is a legendary rocket launcher manufactured by Tediore added in Claptastic Voyage.
It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from EOS located in Deck 13.5.
Special Weapon Effects
If somebody's gonna kill him, it should be us! – Fires a fast-traveling laser similar to blaster lasers and can inflict a critical hit. Increased accuracy. Always explosive.
Usage & Description
Kaneda's Laser is the only launcher in the game that is able to score critical hits, which gives the weapon massive damage potential. It is therefore advisable to aim carefully, scoring critical hits to maximize each shot's damage. The splash damage does not affect user in any way.
Notes
- The weapon will always spawn with the Torgue sight.
- It is only affected by bonuses to weapons in general, and rocket launchers, but not lasers.
- Direct hit kills made with this weapon don't seem to count towards the Rocket Launcher Challenge "Missile Magnet" (PC).

- Kaneda's Laser is a reference to the film Akira, where the main character, named Kaneda, wields a weapon similar in nature to Kaneda's Laser. The weapon's flavor text is a quote from Kaneda himself during the movie.
