Kairos is the planet on which Borderlands 4 takes place. Ruled by The Timekeeper,[1] the planet's population was oppressed through fear and cybernetic implants[2] until Pandora's moon Elpis arrived in orbit, damaging the barrier that isolated it from the rest of the galaxy.[1]
