Insider is a legendary shotgun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Maliwan. It is obtained randomly from any enemy that appears in Guns, Love, and Tentacles.

Special Weapon Effects

You can run, but you can't hide. – Does not require charging. Fires multiple elemental bullets that travel forward in a randomized cluster. Projectiles explode on contact, dealing elemental splash damage. Consumes 2 ammo per shot.

Usage & Description

The Insider consumes ammo rapidly but deals extreme damage per shot, making it a powerhouse at close range. Its splash damage gives it some extra leniency with aim, and it does not require charging like most Maliwan shotguns. Care must be taken with point-blank use however, as the weapon's splash damage will easily down a careless user.
