Hyperfocus XZ41 is a legendary submachine gun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Hyperion. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Power Troopers.

Special Weapon Effects

My line has ended. – Hitting an enemy spawns two additional projectiles perpendicular to the target. These shots can ricochet off the environment.

Usage & Description

The XZ41's effect is vaguely similar to a weaker, on-hit Conference Call. The additional shots created by the XZ41 makes it a good choice for crowd control, as the additional projectiles are likely to strike adjacent enemies. This effect is further enhanced in enclosed spaces, where the projectiles can potentially ricochet and strike an enemy multiple times.

Notes

After a 3/12/2020 hotfix, the Hyperfocus XZ41 had its damage increased.
