Horrorshow is the Title of a group of common Sniper Rifles and are manufactured exclusively by Vladof. The Horrorshow is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source. This sniper rifle features the Jakobs barrel.
Usage & Description
Horrorshows tend to feature fire rates lower than other Vladof sniper rifles along with moderate magazine capacity and medium recoil. Accuracy and damage are higher than the faster-firing and higher-capacity Droog, though damage is poor compared to other manufacturers' sniper rifles and reload speed is typically low.
Instead of a long-range sniper rifle, it's better used at an intermediate range between assault rifles' and sniper rifles' effective range.
Trivia
- In keeping with Vladof's use of Nadsat in their naming conventions, the term "khorosho," or хорошо, is Russian for "well," "good." The term sounds similar to "horror show" and was anglicized to "horrorshow" in A Clockwork Orange, also meaning "well," "good."
- In Russian localization this name was changed to "communist" (rus. коммунист) to keep masculine gender in names and prefixes of items with soviet aesthetic of Vladof corporation.
