Hellfire is a legendary submachine gun in Borderlands 3 manufactured by Dahl. The Hellfire is only dropped by the Jabbermogwai located in Voracious Canopy on Eden-6, and only when it is killed with incendiary damage.
Special Weapon Effects
We don't need no... something... – Always incendiary and full-auto firing mode. Greatly increased elemental damage and elemental effect chance. Decreased projectile speed.

- After a 3/12/2020 hotfix buff, the Hellfire had its base damage and damage over time buffed.
Trivia
- The Hellfire is a returning weapon from Borderlands, Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel but as a legendary Dahl submachine gun instead of a legendary Maliwan submachine gun.
- The flavor text refers to its flavor texts in the previous games, with "We don't need no water..." in Borderlands, and "We don't need no fire..." in Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
- All versions of the flavor text are a reference to the song The Roof Is on Fire by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three.
- Kills of Jabbermogwai in Normal Mode without Mayhem levels have only a small chance to drop Hellfire. Kills on Mayhem Mode or True Vault Hunter Mode always drop Hellfire.
