The Hammer Buster II is a legendary Jakobs assault rifle. It is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

Usage & Description
The Hammer Buster II boasts very high raw stats, with the exception of magazine size and recoil reduction. Its high recoil reduction is innate to its Dahl barrel, and it also boasts a 50% additive crit bonus and 15% multiplicative crit bonus.
In practice, it serves more as a marksman rifle than a traditional assault rifle. Due to the semi-automatic firing mode, it is advised that the user keep their distance from the fray, at medium-to-long range, rather than as a traditional assault rifle.
Trivia
- The name and flavor text of the weapon is a direct reference to the Hammer Buster, an extremely similar weapon from Borderlands 2, which is in turn a reference to the Gears of War series of games and novels.
