The Gub is a Legendary Pistol of Bandit manufacture. Gub is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from Laney White located in The Fridge.

Special Weapon Effects

Abt Natural – Massive magazine, heavily increased damage (around 160,000 at level 72, non-overpowered). Always Corrosive. Somewhat decreased weapon sway and recoil reduction for a Bandit pistol.

Usage & Description

Compared to other Bandit pistols, the Gub has ridiculously boosted damage, which works well together with the massive magazines that all Bandit weapons have. However, the corrosive effect limits it slightly, making it less useful against any non-armored foe.

The Gub also appears to have less aim-sway and recoil while firing (Even better with a Gun-stock), compared to a same-level bandit pistol, but the difference is minor in effect and the accuracy can still be considered less than impressive for a legendary. With that being said, it would be wise to use only at close-to-mid range, using it against enemies vulnerable to corrosive (Such as Loaders), Otherwise the effectiveness of this weapon can be fairly limited to those not specked into either a element or pistol build.
