Chest

The Golden Chest is located in Sanctuary and is opened by using a Golden Key. Keys are given by pre-ordering Borderlands 2, thus being a Premiere Club member, and by redeeming Shift codes given by Gearbox. By opening the chest it will give Purple and E-Tech weapons and items. Blue Relics can also spawn in the chest. After collecting all of the items, the chest will close. If the player has more Golden Keys available, they can open it again for more loot.
