GenIONs are combat robots encountered in Borderlands 3.
Background
GenIONs are smallest of all Maliwan combat robots. They wield scythes with large glowing blades. They are only encountered as GenIVIVs guards.

Strategy
To use their scythes, GenIONs must get into Melee range, and while doing so they take no evasive actions. Unlike some larger combat robots, GenIONs are not equipped with jet engines and are unable to slide across the battlefield; they have to run towards their intended victims. GenIONs are never equipped with shields and are very weak to corrosive damage.
