Quick question: During the first playthrough via co-op, my friend dropped his old character and started a new one. Due to the level difference ( i was about 30), he levelled quickly. The problem is: we had already done the Weapon SDU extra slots quests. So his new character is stuck with only 2 weapon slots. Is there something we can do about this? We are starting playthrough 2 now, with the Zombie DLC.

Long answer: The short answer is Yes. Since your friend created a new character it's basically like starting the game over again. He won't have direct access to playthrough 2 but can still join your character in PT2 and nothing will seem amiss (only he has two weapon slots). When he joins you in PT1 he will get a message saying you're too far ahead in the main quest. The long and short way around this is that your friend has to host the game (it will default to PT1). you'll both be starting from the beginning but you'll have all your items. When you complete the weapon SDU quests your friend will get his weapon slots but you won't get anything.147.153.22.176 15:18, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
I assume you hosted the game before. If he hosts, he should be able to go back and do any quests he missed with your help. At the very least he should be able to go back in single player to get the quests.Veggienater 15:22, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
