Considering that fact that the Arid Badlands is present in Borderlands 2, as the Arid Nexus - Badlands, we have a very concise connection between locations in Borderlands 2 and Fyrestone. We even have the map in Borderlands 2, that actually shows where everything is in relation to each other. Who's in to make a map of the entire playable area from both games? I have seen the map of the first game, and it is quite well done, but I think we should add in Borderlands 2 locations as well. A very interesting proposition would be to make it in a Google Maps style design, where possibly you can go to "Street View", and fly through the game world. I can screencap maps if anyone is interested in helping :) Drinfernoo (talk) 00:12, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

You also have to take into account that the map marks the locations of bosses, how are you going to do that if you use the same map? Bone Head/Bone Head 2.0 is overlayed on top of each other?--Talk to prinny! Prinny Riceygringo 03:42, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
That doesn't seem like too big of a problem to me. The only bosses I can think of where that is the case are Bone Head and Bone Head 2.0, and it seems like it would be as easy as denoting that one is from BL and one is from BL2. That is also a solution for the other bosses, possibly by color-coding the names by which game they are from? Another bonus to using the Google Maps API is the ability to turn on or off layers, such as a chest layer, boss layer, waypoints, Fast Travel, or even game-specific layers that delineate BL objects/characters from BL2 ones. The only other bone I have to pick is that the current maps don't really show where Moxxi's Underdome is, even though we are led to assume that it is located within, or near, Moxxi's Red Light from DLC3, but it isn't displayed on the existing map.
