I think I set a world record... I'm a level 44 soldier and killed Crawmerax. I modded a couple of guns but it still took me a solid 30 minutes. I used a smg that does 404 damage, a sniper that does 6x 265 damage, a useless launcher that does around 4000 damage, and a shotgun that does about 1500 damage per shot. I also found a shield online that dosent take any damage but it was still hard to not fall off the edge. I had to use the glitch where the enemies cant see me and edit my turret so that I get extra ammo. I just got my ass whooped by Crawmerax... Again. I'm currently at level 59, I only attempted this round because my mission list downgraded the difficulty to tough. Yeah freakin' right. I only play solo PS3 and don't have willowtree or whatever. So: What is the lowest level anyone has defeated CrawBastard solo AND without any mods (or hacks or whatever you call them)? I'm level 61 and still can't regularly kill him solo with my Soldier, usually getting my a@# kicked royally. Time to work on getting the Siren to 61 then. Skeve613 21:03, April 27, 2010 (UTC)
My L61 Hunter lasts around 5-10 seconds off the lift. Can't damage anything with anything. Weps Proficiencies are Rev:28, Snipe:21, Shot:19, else:18 which I'm guessing are all too low. Can't outrun the purple worms. Pointless. Bored. IMonkoii 07:14, April 28, 2010 (UTC)
I'm level 59 and I have killed Crawmerax with the help of a level 60 friend, though according to the DamageDump I did considerably more damage, and neither of us died a whole lot (I died twice, he died once) so I guess it is reasonably possible at a non-61 level.
