Ok i was just playing online today, and i ran into 2 level 70 soldiers HOW DO YOU DO THAT! I am a level 50 hunter and my exp. bar is maxed out and won't go any further
Save file editing. No possible legitimate way, this has also been known to glitch the game up, too. JESUS 04:54, January 11,3023(UTC)
- There is no way to legitimately get to level 70 in Borderlands. These people have edited their save file to show an incorrect level in game. It's done using the same method which people use to modify weapons, items and the like. At this point in the development of the game the fixed limits on characters are as follows: Level - 50 | Skill Points - 52 (50 Original, 2 Mad Moxxi) | Backpack Size - 63 (42 1st PT, 15 2nd PT, 6 Zombie DLC)
Anyone who claims to have something higher than those levels has modified their save file. On the topic of backpack size, most people believe the max is 42, however there is a chance that you can receive a backpack sdu from each of the first 5 claptraps in the 2nd playthrough. You will likely have to reset to an old save point many times in order to get them all but it is possible to get them. --Doctorgray 04:54, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
