I know a lot of details about the story were lost on the cutting room floor, like explanations about how Wilhelm was so easy to defeat and why you can use the New-U Stations and stuff, but I don't recall any explanations of how Handsome Jack knew Eridium would form after the Vault opened, how he could use the Eridum or how he knew what was in the Vault in the first place. 184.171.196.31 23:51, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

listen to Get to Know Jack. when approaching bunker jack states he and wilhelm beat the info out of tannis. patty and angel were in first game. timeline is a little wonky w/ the 4n631 retcon. but it mostly works. it all leads back to tannis.   Dr. F            01:44, November 5, 2012 (UTC)

I played through Get to Know Jack. Based on that information, he knew about the Vault and the Eridium and stuff when Angel was just a little girl. Tannis couldn't have been his source of information because Jack and Wilhelm tortured her for the Vault Key some time after you gave it back to her after the first game.184.171.196.31 02:23, November 5, 2012 (UTC)
