Alright, so i thought that this was incredibly strange, dont really know if it was a glitch or if it was meant to be like the following:
I was in a lvl 61 soldier, running around the 3rd dlc for fun seeing what I could kill with some wildcat i had (dont you ever just have the urge to get under someones chin and shoot a full clip into 'em?) and somehow my adventure led me to shanks little Prison yard. So here I am running through killing everyone, and i notice a red chest. I figure to myself, might as well open it, and inside was your generic 10110 Cannon. I thought "huh, well I already got one so im just gunna leave it.
So here I am again slaughtering the masses, and i stumble on another red chest. wouldnt you know it, another 10110 Cannon. Coincidence? It Gets better. i get to the red box that the claptrap opens the door to. Another Friggin cannon. Now at this point im thinking to myself "what are the odds? this is crazy!"
Anywho, I try to ignore it and continue on to kill shank and head towards where you free Athena, and THIS RIGHT HERE was the line. there are two Lance weapon chests right outside of that hallway, and the first box had your regular white weapons, and i thought "thank God its over." Then I open up the second lance chest and there were TWO FRIGGIN CANNONS WITH THE EXACT SAME STATS!!!!!
Now am I just crazy or are they more common in this area? Why couldn't it be something useful like Ogres and Hellfires spawning in there? Anyone else ever Experience this phenomena? -IX GURP XI
I do seem to find an Eridian weapon in Lockdown Palace every time, but you must have really [Good/(Bad)] Luck. That is really strange though - I will admit it. Uberorb 
All I got to say is man, go buy a lottery ticket! I do tend to find a boat load of crappy Eridian weapons in the armory, but never the way it sounds like you experienced in Lockdown.I Deal In Lead 19:54, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
I have had that happen, not in the palace but other places where it seemed every chest i opened seemed to spawn the same weapons.Veggienater 21:37, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
