I was wondering if anybody else had had something like this happen to them: I was soloing Crawmerax from the WNW glitch spot with my Siren. I had taken out a couple of craw worms and opened fire on Craw's pincers, when suddenly he launched himself into the air! He flew up to above the height of the standing rock pillars, and floated towards me at some speed, landing on top of me. I took a lot of damage, but I was now inside of him looking out, and figuring I had nothing to lose I fired at the pincer crit spots which were right in front of me, practically filling the screen. I managed to take out one before I got downed (I don't know exactly how), and I then respawned as normal.

This is the strangest thing I've ever seen - any comments? Outbackyak 11:14, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

crawmerax is intangible like most critters in the game (you can walk through morthrakk's corpse) the notable exception being the rakkhive. someone posted having found himself inside the destroyer and was able to shoot it from within with impunity. so basically craw is hollow, or you could think of him as a magic piñata which must be whacked to get the candy.   Dr. F    Chemicalweapon   Wordpress shovel   Boston globe bullhorn  11:25, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

^^^Mmmm, magic Crawmerax candy... My favorite flavor is pearlescent. :D   Uberorb Bio melt   Dr.F, your example makes me wanna take a baseball bat to crawmerax's face. (don't try this at home)

Never seen it. Sounds like maggot AI behavior.  nagy   talkScorpio-fulllog     11:39, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

This happened to me once. I was so freaked out and surprised I fell of the edge. Good to know it was not just my game and that others have experienced this. Auric Polaris 17:34, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

On time I was soloing craw with my roland (turret distraction method) when Craw went underground, and never resurfaced -__- I only had the eye left... A Lonely Nomad 21:21, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

That's new. I usually have Craw doing the "Jitterbug" glitch. He'll roar, and then do a funny pose, but it's not funny when his back spines block his back critical spot. Still funny though. Yoshi-TheOreo August 8, 2010
